Sergio, you will always be a Deftoner, we love you and thanks to you for all your contributions to reborn this amazing band from the ashes. But my disapproval is very explicit and I am totally disgusted with the attitude of the band. I won't write anything else because I'll end up cursing the guys without knowing the context yet. I know we only have one version of the facts yet, but it's enough to make us angry at this totally shitty attitude on the part of the three lead members (Stephen, Chino and Abe).
I feel disappointed (as a fan of the band) to see a good friend get kicked like this. Because he replaced Chi with so much respect and made a totally and emotionally broken band rising from the ashes with superb two records in the sequence that Chi would make very proud.
Open to select another chart: by year, by decade or all time All time. It's so freaking sad to see Sergio gone, man. The best-selling album relesased in 1993 is MUSIC BOX by MARIAH CAREY which sold 30,000,000 copies. I always considered Sergio a member of Deftones because this guy accepted to be the bassist of the band at the worst moment of their career and made a magnificent job on the four albums, three of them can already be considered classics (Diamond Eyes, Koi No Yokan and Ohms).
